Job summary

Ripple Effect is seeking a Human Subjects Educator and Communications Consultant to support the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

You will develop and deliver training, guidance, and communications that promote understanding of human subjects protections and compliance with the Common Rule and related federal regulations. You will apply your expertise in research ethics, IRB operations, regulatory compliance, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in health/science or related field.
10+ years relevant professional experience in human subjects protections, ethics, or regulatory affairs.
Experience developing education and training materials for research professionals.

Responsibilities

Develop training curricula, presentations, videos, webinars, and other external resources on human subjects protections.
Deliver training programs to researchers, IRB professionals, and institutional officials.
Collaborate with federal staff, researchers, and other stakeholders to identify educational needs and best practices.
Ensure training content aligns with the Common Rule and related HHS regulations.
Prepare reports and communicate findings to leadership.
