Job summary

Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is seeking a dedicated Human Services Professional - Specialized to provide skill-building, psychoeducation, and supportive services in homes, schools, and communities. You will work under supervision to help clients build independence and healthy coping skills, tailoring interventions to individual needs.

We value trauma-informed, person-centered care and strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field.
• Experience with individuals facing mental health challenges is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel across the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family psychoeducation and skill development services.
• Support clients with daily living, parenting, social, employment, and community engagement skills.
• Collaborate with clients, families, treatment teams, and community partners.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support positive outcomes.
• Complete timely documentation and maintain accurate client records.
• Participate in recovery teams, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
• Respond to client needs through flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends.
