Job summary

Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is a private, non-profit human service agency seeking a compassionate Human Services Professional - Specialized to provide skill-building, psychoeducation, and supportive services to individuals and families in homes, schools, and communities.

Working under supervision of a Licensed Therapist or Therapist-In-Training, you will help clients build independence and healthy coping skills, with responsibilities including psychoeducation, documentation, and collaboration

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field is required.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the community are required.
  • This is a great opportunity for a Master's Level Student looking for experience while in school.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and family psychoeducation and skill development services.
  • Support clients with daily living, parenting, social, employment, and community engagement skills.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, treatment teams, and community partners.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to support positive outcomes.
  • Complete timely documentation and maintain accurate client records.
  • Participate in recovery teams, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
  • Respond to client needs through flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends.

Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is a private, non-profit, human service agency providing a variety of services throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Over the years, LSS has grown to become one of the largest human service agencies in the two state area serving more than 125,000 clients annually. Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Human Services Professional - Specialized to provide skill-building, psychoeducation, and supportive services to individuals and families in their homes, schools, and communities.
