Job Description: Human Resources Summer Analyst Program (New York)
This 10-week program, starting in June, offers a hands-on introduction to Human Resources at Morgan Stanley.
Here’s what you’ll get:
- In-depth Exposure: Gain experience in a specific Human Resources function while developing a broader understanding of the entire division.
- Comprehensive Training: Participate in a week of firmwide and HR-specific training, exposing you to various functional areas and senior management.
- Immersive Experience: Engage in training sessions, speaker series, networking events, and educational activities to understand HR and the firm’s culture.
Your Responsibilities:
- Analytics: Create reports providing compensation and headcount analytics to management.
- Program Implementation: Partner with HR teams to implement programs aimed at attracting, retaining, and motivating employees.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with HR teams to evaluate and improve processes for operational efficiency.
- Client Support: Assist in employee relations investigations and address client inquiries about policies and procedures.
- HR Operating Model Understanding: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the HR operating model and its interdependencies.
- Presentations: Present to HR senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate (Junior) or graduate degree, graduating between December 2025 and June 2026.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Team player with strong collaborative skills.
- Attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to streamline processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, willingness to work hard, and a proactive, motivated approach.
- Poise, self-confidence, and a “can-do” attitude.
- Preferred majors include: Human Resources Management, Finance, Business Management, Economics, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Communications, or Psychology.

Compensation:
