Job summary

Mark Twain Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Human Resources Specialist for our Kirksville, Missouri office to support onboarding, benefits enrollment, payroll changes, and employee communications. The role also involves compliance tasks, training, and coordination of community outreach materials with the Director of Marketing and Community Development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or closely related field with at least two (2) years full-time professional experience.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Human Resources.
• Certification in Human Resources preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new employee orientation and onboarding.
• Facilitate benefit enrollment and account opening.
• Provide support to employees via individual and group communications.
• Provide benefit changes for monthly payroll.
• Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives as requested.
• Participate in Health & Safety Initiatives as requested.
• Assist with Health Plan and Supplemental Benefits Open Enrollments.
• Complete Timesheet reviews for Recovery Technicians.
• Provide employee training as indicated.
• Perform compliance duties.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Provide support for coordination of marketing materials to the community as assigned by Director of Marketing and Community Development.
• Assist with social media management as requested.
• Represent agency publicly at community events as assigned.
• Create department materials for events and communications.
