Job description

We are recruiting a Human Resources Operations Coordinator for our Bay Area offices. This role supports the HR Operations team with a range of tasks including onboarding, offboarding, data entry, and reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Support the HR Operations team with various tasks and projects.
  • Act as the point of contact for HR requests and monitor the HR mailbox.
  • Monitor and respond to Workday Help Workspace inquiries.
  • Perform Workday data entry for personnel actions such as promotions and status changes.
  • Draft memos and documentation for personnel actions, including location transfers, promotions, and departures.
  • Conduct onboarding and offboarding tasks: new hire orientations, I-9 verifications, E-Verify processes, and departure emails.
  • Perform regular audits on new hire data entry within the firm’s HRIS.
  • Assist with processing verifications of employment.
  • Check and distribute Human Resources-related mail to appropriate teams.
  • Assist with processing payroll advances and invoices for payment.
  • Help prepare HR reports such as new hire and turnover reports.
  • Provide backup support to other HR Operations team members as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain compliance with all firm policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of experience in human resources preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Experience with Workday preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and customer service orientation.
  • Can work independently and complete assignments within given instructions and procedures.
Location & Pay

Primary location: Palo Alto, California. Other Bay Area locations may be considered. Hybrid work arrangement is available. Pay range: $29.83 – $40.36 per hour. Compensation may include overtime and a discretionary year-end merit bonus.
