California State University, Chico is seeking an Office Coordinator for the Human Resources Office. The role provides essential front-line administrative support, ensures smooth daily operations, and assists the AVP of Staff Human Resources.

The Human Resources Office Coordinator, under general supervision, will serve as the office coordinator for a large‑scale multi‑faceted Human Resources Office providing excellent customer service as well as continuity and stability to the office operations. Incumbent will provide essential front‑line administrative support to all of Human Resources, oversight of daily operations, maintaining office processes, procedures, and systems, as well as processing unemployment and performance evaluations. The incumbent will handle confidential matters, oversee and reconcile all aspects of the department budgets, and provide administrative support to the AVP of Staff Human Resources.
This position requires fully functional knowledge of and skill in standard office procedures and practices, as well as an ability to understand and operate in a variety of organizational structures. These qualifications, and those listed above, would normally be obtained through completion of a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents combined with three years of related office work experience.
Time Base: Full‑time
Pay Plan: 12/12
Work Schedule: Mon‑Fri 8:00am‑5:00pm, Summer: Mon‑Thurs 7:00am‑5:30pm
CSU Classification Salary Range: $48,564 (Step 1) – $70,752 (Step 20) per year.
