Job summary

Arhaus is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR programs across our facilities. You will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while guiding recruitment, compensation, safety, and employee relations.

This role requires partnering with site leaders in manufacturing and distribution to implement training, performance management, and conflict resolution processes, while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in human resources management, labor relation, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Experience in human resources or related field.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
  • Excellent organization and time management; maintain confidentiality.
  • Team player with interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management experience with multiple stakeholders.
  • 5+ years in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of HR strategies including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations.

Responsibilities

  • Update job descriptions to stay compliant with regulations.
  • Develop training materials and performance programs to help staff understand responsibilities.
  • Investigate associate issues, conflicts, and policy violations with disciplinary outcomes.
  • Resolve conflicts through mediation coaching and guidance.
  • Training, counseling, and coaching our staff.
  • Drive workforce analytics, insights, and reporting to support workforce plan.
  • Conduct daily walks to identify improvements and share feedback with leadership.
  • Create and maintain a compensation strategy based on market research.
  • Investigate employee issues and bring them to resolution.
  • Support business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and retention.
  • Ensure HR policies are applied consistently.
  • Maintain organization charts and employee directory.
  • Partner with management to align HR goals with business initiatives.
  • Oversee performance appraisal system driving high performance.
  • Maintain HR systems and processes.
  • Conduct performance and salary reviews.
  • Manage and guide HR site representatives in distribution centers.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
  • Develop and deliver training materials and performance management programs to help ensure our staff and associates understand their job responsibilities.
  • Investigate associate issues, conflicts, and other policy violations while delivering disciplinary and termination outcomes.
  • Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation coaching and guidance.
  • Training, counseling, and coaching our staff
  • Drive workforce analytics, insights, and reporting to support the development, execution, and ongoing refinement of the company’s workforce plan
  • Investigate associate issues, conflicts, and other policy violations while delivering disciplinary and termination outcomes.
  • Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation coaching and guidance.
  • Conduct daily walks throughout the entire facility, interact with all levels of employees, gain insights into areas for improvement, and proactively share feedback to the leadership team
  • Create and maintain a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of the associate population.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in human resources management, labor relation, or equivalent is preferred. Relevant experience in a similar role will be considered in lieu of a Degree.
  • Excellent knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant agencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with computer skills. (MS Word and Excel)
  • Experience in human resources or related field.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, flexibility, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be a team player, detail‑oriented with excellent interpersonal, customer service, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Project management experience with multiple stakeholders — prioritizing and delegating projects/tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Experience:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of a broad range of human resource strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring and employee relations; able to apply these strategies and practices in compliance with employment regulations.
