Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Human Resources Manager in Manufacturing to plan and administer HR policies across the plant. You will lead in recruiting, onboarding, policy compliance, safety initiatives, and employee relations while partnering with management to align HR with business goals.

This role requires strategic HR leadership, experience in manufacturing, union avoidance, performance management, payroll oversight, and development of a safe, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years in field or manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 6 years in the position.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience managing people/projects.
  • Preferred: 10+ years in field or in the same manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: 10+ years - experience in position.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
  • Recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
  • Conducts new employee orientations to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Participates in safety committee and conducts facility walk-throughs identifying safety issues.
  • Works with management and senior HR to resolve employee relations issues.
  • Assists in investigations of employee relations issues.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
  • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness and equity.
  • Ensures plant is FLSA compliant.
  • Leads monthly Listening Sessions with employees.
  • Enters new hire paperwork and status changes into HRIS.
  • Initial review and submission of payroll.

Human Resources Manager - ManufacturingPlans and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate administrators.

Essential Functions
  • Ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.

  • Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
  • Leads monthly "Listening Sessions" with employees.
  • Enters new hire paperwork as well as status changes into HRIS system.
  • Initial review and submission of payroll.
