About VeroTouch

VeroTouch exists to change how homes are built.

We are a venture-backed construction technology company reimagining residential construction by combining advanced manufacturing, robotics, and traditional building expertise. At a time when housing affordability, labor shortages, and inefficiency continue to plague our industry, VeroTouch is focused on building better, faster, and smarter.

Our work sits at the intersection of construction and technology. We design and operate systems that integrate 3D printing, advanced materials, and lean production principles into real-world job sites. This is not a theoretical exercise. We are actively building homes, learning in real time, and turning those experiences into repeatable and scalable operating models.

VeroTouch is early-stage, hands‑on, and execution‑driven. The people who thrive here are builders in every sense of the word. They take ownership, stay calm under pressure, and care deeply about outcomes. If you are excited by challenges, energized by responsibility, and motivated by the opportunity to help define the future of an industry that rarely changes, you will feel at home here.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Manager at VeroTouch will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, managing and overseeing all human resources functions to support rapid growth, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure operational excellence in a dynamic, technology‑driven construction environment. This role involves developing and implementing HR policies, managing talent acquisition, leading all employee relations, compliance, and development initiatives tailored to a workforce that includes technical specialists, on‑site construction teams, and corporate staff. Reporting directly to executive leadership, the HR Manager will align HR strategies with VeroTouch’s mission to innovate construction practices while maintaining a collaborative, accountable, and inclusive workplace. This position requires a proactive leader comfortable in an evolving, startup‑like setting who can bring structure, clarity, and scalability to people operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies that support VeroTouch’s business objectives, including talent acquisition for specialized roles in materials, design, engineering, construction, and manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with leadership on organizational design, policy development, and change management to facilitate a high‑growth environment.
  • Uphold VeroTouch’s values of excellence, innovation, and accountability, fostering trust and pride across all levels of the organization.
Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and Offboarding
  • Manage the full‑cycle recruitment process, from job posting and sourcing to interviewing, selection, onboarding, and integration, with a focus on attracting skilled builders, technicians, and innovators.
  • Support on‑site and field‑based teams by identifying HR needs related to operations and workforce mobility and ensuring hiring and firing meets the needs of management.
  • Handle offboarding, exit interviews, and knowledge transfer to inform continuous improvement in people practices.
Employee Relations and Culture
  • Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution and escalation, performance coaching, investigations, and grievance handling, while promoting respect, accountability, and ownership.
  • Protect VeroTouch’s core culture during rapid growth by reinforcing values of excellence, innovation, trust, and builder’s mindset through consistent modeling, onboarding integration, and daily operations.
Performance Management and Development
  • Administer performance management systems, including goal setting, regular feedback, evaluations, and development plans to enhance individual and team capabilities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Design and deliver training and development programs, including safety training, technical skill enhancement, leadership development, and cultural initiatives to support team growth and operational maturity.
Compensation, Benefits, and Compliance
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive offerings that align with industry standards, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and performance incentives.
  • In partnership with corporate counsel, ensure full compliance with federal, state (Colorado‑specific), and local employment laws, occupational safety regulations (particularly for construction sites), and industry standards, while maintaining accurate HR records and reporting.
HR Analytics and Organizational Effectiveness
  • Monitor HR metrics, employee engagement, retention trends, and organizational health; provide data‑driven recommendations to improve processes and overall workforce effectiveness.
Qualifications

  • Extensive experience, a proven work ethic, and a strong commitment to continuous learning—attributes that deliver results beyond traditional education (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant advanced certification (preferred).
Required Experience
  • 5+ years of progressive HR generalist or management experience, ideally in construction, manufacturing, technology, or startup environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management within dynamic, growth‑oriented settings.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, including Colorado‑specific regulations, OSHA standards relevant to construction, and best practices in HR administration.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders, including field‑based teams, technical specialists, and executive leadership.
  • Experience implementing HR systems, policies, and processes in scaling organizations, with a track record of driving cultural alignment and operational consistency.
Preferred Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing‑adjacent or production‑oriented environments, such as advanced manufacturing, robotics, automation, lean production systems, or hardware/software‑integrated operations.
  • Background working in early‑stage, high‑growth, or venture‑backed organizations, particularly those undergoing rapid scaling, process evolution, or technology‑driven transformation.
