Job summary

Dot Foods is seeking a motivated business administration HR intern in Bear, Delaware, for Summer 2027. You will train across departments, shadow workflows, and lead a project from definition through presentation. The role emphasizes lean thinking, learning, and hands-on experience in a family-owned distribution environment.

Required are full-time student status, a 3.0 GPA, and strong MS Office skills. Expect to work on multiple projects, attend training events, and possibly minimal overnight

Location: Bear, Delaware

Department: Administration (Human Resources)

Reports To: Department Manager

Pay Range: $16.50 - $18.50

Train, learn, and work with various departments to gain understanding of workflows, processes, and how they interact with other parts of the business. Complete a minimum of one assigned project for review and possible implementation in addition to gaining valuable professional work experience, knowledge, and skills.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

WORK STATEMENT

YOU MUST HAVE

• Full-time student in good standing actively pursuing a degree at a local, accredited college/university

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• Degree work towards a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business administration, Finance, Criminal Justice, Supply Chain Management, Psychology, or a related field
• Effective, professional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Leadership experience

ROLE SPECIFICS

• Ability to work a minimum of 350 hours during internship tenure (Summer 2027)
• Attend business, Dot specific, and personal development intern training events
• Potential for minimal overnight travel; ability to travel without restriction by all modes of transportation
