WHO YOU ARE
  • You are pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university with an expected graduate date between December 202 7 and Summer 202 8
  • You have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • You have an interest in Human Resources, talent, organizational effectiveness, employee experience, or related areas, and are curious to learn how HR supports partners, business objectives , and organizational success
  • You have proven analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills through course wor k and/or previous internship experience
  • You have demonstrated leadership and teamwork through projects an d extracurricular involvement
WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an intern at Northern Trust, you will have the opportunity to build relevant skills, work on meaningful projects, and participate in a collaborative program designed to support your early career development. You will work directly with your team on day-to-day tasks while joining internship program events to develop new skills, network with senior leaders, and connect with fellow interns in the program. Through hands‑on experience, meaningful project work, and exposure to a dynamic global business, you will begin to see how your interests can grow into a long‑term career at Northern Trust. A recruiter will work with you to determine the best team placement given your interests, skill set, and relevant experience.

THE PROGRAM:

WHAT YOU'LL GAIN:
  • Support HR initiatives by assisting with program coordination, communications, reporting, and partner engagement activities.
  • Analyze HR data to identify trends and develop insights that support decision‑making and program effectiveness.
  • Contribute to inclusion and employee experience initiatives that foster a culture of belonging and support partner development.
  • Partner with team members to improve processes, documentation, dashboards, or tools that enhance the delivery of talent and development programs.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices related to talent management, leadership development, learning, and inclusion, and share recommendations with the team.

Human Resources Analyst

Salary Range:

Salary is $30.00 USD per hour.

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well‑being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
