NaphCare, Inc. is currently hiring a Human Resources Hiring Specialist to join our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL.

This role supports the Talent Acquisition Team by expediting the hiring process and guiding candidates through onboarding and the clearance process to begin employment. Responsibilities include collecting new hire documents, coordinating start dates, administering background checks and drug screenings, and assisting with onboarding activities.

Qualifications

  • Two years of college preferred; HS diploma with 1 year clerical healthcare experience acceptable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to handle stressful situations.
  • 1-3 years HR experience; understands HR workflows in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Collect new hire documents after offer acceptance.
  • Communicate with the new hire via texting, email, and phone.
  • Enter Staff Profile Form and related requests.
  • Verify medical licenses and credentials.
  • Manage drug screening and background checks.
  • Assist onboarding: start date, orientation, training.
  • Support recruiting with social media efforts.
  • Explain company benefits, policies, and parameters.
  • Maintain candidate contact until start date.

Job description

NaphCare is currently hiring a Human Resources Hiring Specialist to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters located in Birmingham, AL.

The Hiring Specialist is responsible for performing clerical and administrative tasks to facilitate an exceptional onboarding experience to candidates and support the Talent Acquisition Team. This role focuses on expediting the hiring process by partnering with Talent Acquisition to guide candidates successfully through the onboarding and clearance process to begin employment with NaphCare.

Responsibilities
  • Once offer is accepted by a candidate begin the collection of new hire documents.
  • Communicate with the new hire via texting, email, and phone
  • Collect and upload copy of signed offer letter
  • Enter the Staff Profile Form
  • Enters any additional requests (if applicable)
    • IT Requests (Software and Equipment Needs, Network Access, Remote Access)
    • HR Requests (HRS Access, Budget Access)
    • TA Requests (ATS Access)
  • Assist with the verification of medical licenses and credentials.
  • Order and manage drug screening and background check process
  • Manage flow of new hire documents through applicant tracking system.
  • Upload documents into ATS as they are received.
  • Assist the facility in onboarding new hires
    • Work with site to coordinate Start Date
    • 1st Day Instructions
    • Orientation and Training
  • Assist marketing team with social media and other recruiting efforts
  • Process new employee relocation reimbursements
  • Provide sourcing support to the recruiting team, when needed
  • Be knowledgeable and be able to explain company benefits, policies and parameters positions.
  • Maintains contact with candidates throughout the hiring process up until their start date.
  • Notify and provide updates to the TA Team and Hiring Managers regularly.
Qualifications
  • Two years of college preferred. High School diploma or GED certificate with one (1) year clerical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Must possess strong written communication and verbal skills, good judgment and be able to manage stressful situations.
  • 1-3 yrs previous work experience in an HR department, excellent understanding of HR workflows.The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (verbal and written).
  • HRIS and MS Office Suite proficient.
