Responsibilities include payroll and benefits management, policy interpretation, recruitment support, onboarding, recordkeeping, OSHA reporting, staff development, and travel to other plant locations within a 100 mile radius

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of payroll and benefits on a weekly basis.
• Interpret and explain policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
• Assist in the hiring of employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
• Prepare and maintain employment records related to hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
• Review applications, set up interviews, assist with interviews, and communicate with management to place candidates in open positions.
• Schedule and conduct new employee orientation/onboarding.
• Search for qualified candidates using databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, job fairs, recruiting firms, or referrals.
• Maintain HR documents such as organizational charts, handbooks, or performance evaluation forms.
• Perform safety & OSHA reporting.
• Assist staff development to improve skills, knowledge, and attitudes.
• Maintain knowledge of EEO and affirmative action guidelines.

The HVAC industry is an exciting industry that impacts energy usage on a global scale. Multistack is one of the leading HVAC manufacturers and creators of modular chiller systems. We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management of payroll and benefits on a weekly basis.
• Interpret and explain policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
• Assist in the hiring of employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
• Review employment applications, set up interviews with selected candidates, assist with interviews, and communicate with management making hire recommendations and to appropriately place candidates in open positions.
• Schedule and conduct new employee orientation/onboarding.
• Perform searches for qualified candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, internet recruiting resources, media advertisement, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals.
• Assist in maintaining and updating human resource documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks, or performance evaluations forms.
• Perform safety & OSHA reporting.
• Assist with staff development to improve skills, knowledge, and attitudes of employees.
• Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).
• Ability to travel 1-2 times per month to other plant locations within a 100 mile radius maximum of Sparta, WI.
