Legends Global is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage day-to-day HR administration and lifecycle activities. You will partner with the Senior HR Manager on initiatives to boost engagement and performance, covering payroll, onboarding, and employee relations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in HR or related field and 3–5 years of HR experience, with strong knowledge of labor laws and HRIS/ATS usage. On-site work at Target Center in Minneapolis is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field.
  • 3-5 years of progressive human resources experience.
  • Strong knowledge of federal/state labor laws, workers’ comp, EEOC, NLRB, and FLSA.
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day HR administration and lifecycle activities.
  • Bi-weekly payroll processing for various employee types.

The HR Generalist will be responsible for executing day to day HR administration and assisting with full employee lifecycle processes. They will partner with the Senior Human Resources Manager on key initiatives that drive employee engagement and business performance while cultivating Target Center organizational culture. This position carries out HR generalist responsibilities in the following functional areas but not limited to high volume recruitment, bi-weekly payroll processing duties, training, performance management, onboarding, and employee relations. This position will report directly to the Senior Human Resources Manager.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* Develop and maintain strong partnerships with management, ensuring HR strategies, processes, and practices are implemented.* Process bi-weekly payroll for full-time, part-time, and casual union team members, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.* Review, audit, and reconcile employee timekeeping records, including missed punches, pay adjustments, shift differentials, overtime, and premium pay.* Ensure optimum staffing levels always exist throughout the unit for operational success.* Provide purposeful and futuristic coaching and feedback to all levels of employees, addressing various employee- related issues and business needs.* Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations.* Conducts exit interviews, analyzes employee engagement and employee turnover data, and makes recommendations to the Senior HR Manager.* Provide HR support during events and non-event days as needed.* Ensures company compliance with all existing governmental and labor reporting requirements.* Partners in the preparation of required documentation for compliance with all state and federal laws.* Leads employee relations functions, including the organization and execution of investigations into policy and law violations in addition to handling general employee concerns.* Partnership in the processing of workers’ compensation claims, leaves of absence, and benefits administration.* Facilitates new hire orientation and talent development materials and initiatives.* Must exhibit an active interest in company- and venue-specific operational knowledge as it relates to providing value-added HR business partnership.* Demonstrate thoughtful leadership and suitable judgment in making HR related business decisions.**Qualifications**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm.
