Job summary

Best-One Tire is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our Indy and Kentuckiana markets from the Jeffersonville area. You’ll lead recruiting, orientation, and help foster a strong team culture to create raving fans.

In this role, you’ll advise on HR policies, coordinate benefits and leaves, maintain employee records, and assist payroll with Finance. If you value people, continuous learning, and a collaborative environment, this is for you.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of HR experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Paylocity experience is preferred.
• Understand and commit to the Best-One Vision, Mission, and Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, from posting jobs to interviewing, extending offers, and completing pre-employment screenings.
• Conduct new team member orientations and assist with training and development programs.
• Provide support to team members and management regarding HR policies, procedures, and labor laws.
• Coordinate HR programs including but not limited to benefits, leaves of absence, and wellness rewards.
• Handle team member relations issues and assist in conflict resolution, investigations, and documentation.
• Maintain Paylocity data integrity and ensure personnel records are up to date.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Support payroll and timekeeping processes in collaboration with Payroll/Finance.
• Assist in organizing team member engagement activities and culture initiatives.
