Job summary

Aston Carter seeks a bilingual HR Generalist based in Del Rey, CA, to support HR policy, payroll processes, recruiting, onboarding, and benefit inquiries. This on-site role emphasizes compliance with California law and a proactive HR partnership with managers.

The role requires at least two years in HR in a production/manufacturing setting, Spanish fluency, and experience in full-cycle recruitment and UKG data accuracy. It is a contract-to-hire opportunity with typical 8:00 AM–4:30 PM hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare severance agreements and analyze weekly temporary employee status.
• Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, performance issues, and corrective actions.
• Promote a positive work environment and support conflict resolution.
• Conduct or support investigations with proper documentation and reporting.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
• Facilitate onboarding, New Hire Orientation, Hourly Wage and Hour training, and UKG data accuracy.
• Support the annual GROW cycle, including goal setting and compensation planning.
• Promote ongoing development conversations and identify training needs.
• Stay informed on market trends, job classifications, and compensation practices.
• Respond to benefit inquiries and coordinate with Corporate Benefits on escalations.
• Assist with company events and participate in committees and special projects.

Work Environment

The role is based in an office setting with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This is a salaried position with occasional on-call duties during the season, requiring availability one weekend a month. The role does not necessitate physical presence for on-call duties.

Job Type & Location

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
