Acuity Inc. in Decatur, GA is seeking a strong Human Resource Generalist/Manager to partner with leaders across Electronics, Pricing & Strategy. The HRM will coach managers, implement talent strategies, maintain HR data integrity, and ensure programs are aligned with business goals.

The role is hybrid with at least one on-site day per week. You will collaborate with the HR Director, support onboarding, employee relations, performance cycles, and workforce planning, while delivering enterprise HR

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in a business partner or HR manager role.
  • Strong experience coaching, influencing and partnering with people managers.
  • Proficiency in employee relations, performance management, and HR program delivery.
  • Proficient in managing and interpreting HR data, with HRIS experience.
  • Ability to balance hands-on operational support with program execution.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Human Resources Director to align talent strategies and organizational design initiatives.
  • Coach leaders across HR programs including performance management, associate relations, organizational design, and career development.
  • Support onboarding, employee engagement, and sensitive employee situations.
  • Ensure consistent HR policy implementation across functions.
  • Deliver enterprise HR programs and adapt them to assigned groups.
  • Act as a connector with HR Centers of Excellence and local stakeholders.
  • Provide feedback to HR COEs for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate HR data and ensure process integrity.
  • Advise on organizational changes, role design, and workforce planning.
  • Lead strategic talent initiatives in collaboration with the HR Director.
  • Lead reporting cadence and analyze data trends.
  • Champion Acuity’s culture and values in leadership practices.

Job Summary

Acuity is looking to hire a strong Human Resource Generalist/Manager (HRM) to serve as a key partner to leaders across three critical areas of our business (Electronics, Pricing & Strategy). Working in close partnership with the Human Resources Director for these groups, the HRM will provide guidance and coaching throughout the associate lifecycle and ensure the effective implementation of talent strategies and organizational design. This role helps translate business priorities into talent, leadership, and organizational actions that strengthen capability, accelerate performance, and enable growth. The HRM will work in partnership with the Human Resources Director to ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and programs, provide feedback to HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) for continuous improvement, and is accountable for maintaining HR processes and data integrity to support business and HR objectives. This role will be Hybrid, requiring at least one day per week to be on-site in our Decatur, GA office.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
  • Partner with Human Resources Director to ensure alignment and effective execution of talent strategies and organizational design initiatives within assigned business groups.

  • Partner & coach leaders across a broad set of HR programs and processes, including but not limited to: performance management, associate relations, organization design & effectiveness, and career development.

  • Support day-to-day HR needs including onboarding, employee engagement, and handling sensitive employee situations.

  • Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, programs, and processes across assigned business functions.

  • Deliver and adapt enterprise HR programs (performance management, compensation cycles, career development, talent reviews, learning and development) to the assigned groups

  • Act as the connector between people managers and HR Centers of Excellence (Talent, Total Rewards, Associate Relations, HR Operations, etc.), ensuring programs are both consistent and locally relevant.

  • Provide actionable feedback to HR Centers of Excellence on HR programs and policies, partnering with business leaders and HRBPs to drive continuous improvement.

  • Maintain accurate HR data and ensure HR processes are executed consistently to deliver on business and HR objectives.

  • Provide guidance on organizational changes, role design, and workforce planning

  • Lead and participate in strategic talent initiatives, in alignment with the Human Resources Director and broader HR strategy.

  • Lead and/or leverage consistent reporting cadence, exercising data analysis to understand trends or themes across the business

  • Champion Acuity’s culture and values, ensuring managers embed them in daily leadership practices.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 3+ years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in a business partner or HR manager role

  • Strong experience coaching, influencing and partnering with people managers

  • Proficiency in employee relations, performance management, and HR program delivery

  • Proficient in managing and interpreting HR data, with experience working with HR information systems (HRIS) and related technologies

  • Ability to balance hands‑on operational support with program execution

  • Ability to exercise judgement and sophisticated decision making

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Has a bias for action and understands how to prioritize critical work

  • Strong organization & project management skills

  • Proficiency in various Microsoft platforms

  • Experience working with international associate populations is preferred

  • Ability to work onsite at least 1 day/week in our Decatur office
