Base pay range: $42,000.00/yr - $45,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Maintain thorough and current knowledge of all Human Resources/employee regulations and laws, and ensure that the property is in compliance.
Participate in EEO, Unemployment, Wage & Hour, Workers' compensation, OSHA, ADA, Immigration and Naturalization Service hearings. Implement policies and programs to guarantee compliance.
Ensure staff compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Coordinate and monitor recruitment, screening and reference checking of all non‑exempt personnel.
Conduct training classes.
Maintain Human Resources budget.
Participate in and monitor safety committee compliance with loss prevention SOPs.
Maintain Employee of the Month/Year program.
Practice positive employee relations, including coaching, counseling and discipline.
Participate in and monitor orientation programs.

Built as Baton Rouge’s first "skyscraper" in 1927, our iconic building started out as the headquarters for Louisiana Trust & Savings Bank. After more than 50 years serving as a banking institution, our landmark continues to be informally called the Old Louisiana National Bank building.
