Hours: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday | Supervisory Responsibilities | No Travel | Pay commensurate with experience
The team member’s number one job responsibility is to meet the needs of the community by delivering patient-centered, high-quality healthcare and understands how to contribute to the health system’s vision of achieving that commitment to patients, families and team members. The Human Resources Director develops, leads, directs, and coordinates all Human Resources functions of the facility. Oversees the facility recruitment strategy including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new team members. Analyzes and recommends modifications to compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Facilitates team member engagement opportunities. Advises department leaders on organizational policy matters such as evaluations, job descriptions, equal employment opportunity, progressive discipline, etc., and makes recommendations as needed. Facilitates human resources policy and procedure education to department leaders. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
A minimum of five years of progressive healthcare-based human resources experience preferred.
Certification in Healthcare Human Resources (CHHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred.
Must be willing to receive all required vaccinations (i.e., flu shot, etc.). All new employees working must be fully vaccinated as a condition of employment (unless the new hire has requested and received an exemption). Candidates for employment will be notified of this policy requirement prior to the start of employment. After receiving an offer of employment, new employees must provide proof of vaccination or request and receive an exemption before beginning work.
