Job description

Our client, an industry leader in Real Estate, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join its team as a generalist, with a focus in leave administration and benefits. This firm offers a supportive and collaborative environment, and a great work life balance. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, and have experience across the HR space.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Track FMLA leaves, and ensure that the approved schedules are adhered to.
  • Monitor worker’s comp claims and initiate when needed
  • Manage all leave and worker’s comp paperwork
  • Prepare department budget and forecasting biannually
  • Audit I-9s on a periodic basis, and coordinate background checks, and drug screens for all new hires
  • Reconcile invoices in the general ledger system
  • Collaborate with ERISA consultants to file their annual 5500 reports
  • Ensure all DOL signs are current and displayed for the corporate and satellite offices
  • Conduct non-discrimination testing for necessary benefits
  • Prepare the HRIS for open enrollments
  • Edit the employee benefit guide as needed
  • Review the firm resume database and assist in conducting initial screens

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred
  • 2+ years of leave administration strongly preferred
  • At least 3 years of HR experience overall required
  • Knowledge of FMLA, PFL and worker’s comp
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, and Adobe Suite
  • Customer Service Oriented
