Job summary

E2 Optics is hiring an Human Resources Coordinator in Atlanta, GA to manage onboarding, employee records, and HR policies in a fast-paced, onsite setting. You will work with a collaborative team and support HR initiatives while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

The role requires strong organizational skills, 2+ years of admin HR support, and a proactive, professional demeanor. Travel may be required as part of project responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of admin support experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, influencing and collaborative skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving, decision making and conflict resolution.
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of employment and labor laws.
  • Tactful, professional demeanor with managers, employees and external parties.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Core Values to foster a family-centric culture.
  • Assist with onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork and orientations.
  • Serve as back up for New Hire Orientation administration.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with policies and employment laws.
  • Support HR Generalist with performance management and employee relations.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and documentation as needed.
  • Facilitate communication between employees and management on HR policies.
  • Participate in HR projects to support a positive workplace culture.

What You'll Do

  • Serving as back up for administering New Hire Orientation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidential handling of sensitive information.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Assist the HR Generalist with performance management processes and employee relations matters.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and documentation as needed.
  • Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to support a positive workplace culture.
  • Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2.
What We Are Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of admin support experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, influencing and collaborative skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving, decision making and conflict resolution skills.
  • Practical understanding and application of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of employment/labor laws.
  • Tactful, professional demeanor with ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, internal and external parties.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, well organized, and quick response times.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities as necessary.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the role.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player with excellent work ethics. Strategic planning skills.
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role requires sitting, use of hands and arms, verbal communication, and occasional physical movement such as stooping or kneeling. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must regularly carry and climb ladders to 20 feet. Must be able to operate equipment such as scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, and UTVs (buggies) if required to do so. The employee may also be required to work in tight and confined spaces. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
