Field Communities, LLC is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner to support Field Properties from our Lancaster, PA onsite location. In this role, you will be a trusted HR partner for executives, managers, and employees while helping a growing multi-location organization strengthen employee engagement, retention, and operational readiness. What you will do
- Serve as the primary day-to-day HR resource for executives, managers, and employees across Field Properties.
- Advise leadership on employee relations, performance management, workplace concerns, corrective action, and terminations.
- Conduct or coordinate workplace investigations and maintain clear, factual documentation.
- Support managers with coaching, performance improvement plans, disciplinary documentation, and consistent application of company policies.
- Lead recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, reference checks, offers, and pre-employment requirements.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for corporate and property-level employees.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including required documentation, certifications, training records, and policy acknowledgments.
- Support workforce planning, employee transitions, and organizational growth.
- Administer employee benefits and coordinate open enrollment, eligibility changes, employee communications, and benefit questions.
- Coordinate payroll processing and participate in annual performance and wage-review processes, including compensation benchmarking or position classification support.
- Review and update employee policies, procedures, job descriptions, forms, and handbook provisions.
- Support employment compliance and required company training; coordinate the company safety committee as assigned.
- Develop and support initiatives for employee engagement, retention, professional development, and management training.
- Prepare workforce reports and HR information for executive leadership.
- Champion company values and partner with department leaders on people-related initiatives.
What you bring
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple HR functions, with management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP and a bachelor's degree in HR, business, organizational leadership, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, performance management, compensation practices, and employment compliance.
- Multi-location workforce experience strongly preferred; property management, real estate, construction, or related industry experience is beneficial.
- Strong judgment and discretion, with investigative and documentation skills, clear communication, strong organization, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
