Job summary

Gellert Global Group (GGG) is seeking an HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, guiding employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, engagement, compensation, benefits, compliance, training, and workforce planning.

This role builds relationships, supports investigations, drives engagement, and fosters a compliant, high-performing workplace aligned with GGG’s values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced, multi-site, distribution, food, manufacturing, or corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, HR compliance, performance management, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, compensation, and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility and trusted partnerships with employees, managers, and leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong coaching, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with discretion.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ADP or other HRIS platforms preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders and managers across assigned client groups to understand business needs and provide practical HR guidance and support.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and managers, serving as a trusted point of contact for HR-related questions, workplace concerns, and policy interpretation.
  • Provide employee relations support, including coaching managers, resolving employee concerns, supporting investigations, and recommending fair outcomes.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies; coordinate with internal resources and outside counsel as needed.
  • Work with managers on employee engagement opportunities and action planning based on survey feedback and business needs.
  • Facilitate the performance management process, including goal setting, feedback, reviews, coaching, and documentation.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support workforce planning, recruiting strategies, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
  • Support new hire onboarding and orientation for a positive employee experience.
  • Guide talent development, succession planning, career growth, retention, and organizational capability.
  • Advise on compensation practices, job titles, grade alignment, bonus structures, and internal equity; coordinate with HR leadership and Finance.
  • Support benefits administration and employee changes with HR team, Payroll, and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate employee documentation and HRIS data; manage onboarding, offboarding, leaves, and other processes.
  • Contribute to training initiatives, compliance training, leadership development, and employee learning opportunities.
  • Monitor workforce trends and feedback to improve communication and processes.
  • Participate in HR projects to improve policies, systems, and practices across GGG.
  • Maintain confidentiality and sound judgment in handling sensitive information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Summary/Objective:

The Human Resources Business Partner serves as a trusted advisor to assigned business leaders and employee groups, providing proactive HR partnership and guidance across employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, engagement, compensation, benefits, compliance, training, workforce planning, and organizational change. This role supports business priorities while helping foster a positive, compliant, high-performing, and employee-centered workplace culture aligned with GGG’s values.

Essential Functions:
  • Partner with leaders and managers across assigned client groups to understand business needs and provide practical, timely HR guidance and support.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and managers, serving as a trusted point of contact for HR-related questions, workplace concerns, and policy interpretation.
  • Provide employee relations support, including coaching managers, resolving employee concerns, supporting investigations, and recommending fair and consistent outcomes.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies; partner with internal resources and outside counsel as needed.

Salary Range:

$115,000 - $148,000 annually plus bonus.

Our company will be relocating to a new corporate headquarters in Madison, NJ in Q1 of 2027. Candidates should be comfortable with this upcoming change in location.
