Job summary

Centinela Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, in Inglewood, CA, is seeking an HR Assistant to handle new hire paperwork, background checks, drug screens and I9/E-Verify, and to manage changes in the HRIS while keeping records up to date. The position requires strong communication skills, general office or personnel experience, and 1–2 years in healthcare.

MS Office proficiency is required; this temporary day-shift role offers a compensation estimate around $25.70 per hour plus

Responsibilities

• The HR Assistant processes new hire paperwork, background checks, coordinates drug screens and completes the I9/E-Verify.
• Will process status changes, term paperwork, promotions, and all other changes and get all appropriate approvals before processing in the HRIS.
• Keeps personnel records up to date.
• Assists with hospital recognition programs and assists employees with general Human Resources questions.
