MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team to provide unparalleled support to our customer and begin an exciting and rewarding career with MANTECH.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Perform transactions related to a variety of Human Resources areas via the HRIS (Workday).
  • Furnish information to authorized persons and provide guidance to all levels of employees regarding personnel policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the collection of data, statistics, and other information for reporting and analysis.
  • Maintain HR documents and personnel files while ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
  • Generate out-processing letters and other termination-related paperwork.
  • Prioritize and work on several tasks and projects simultaneously in a high-paced and high-volume environment.
  • Perform other administrative and HR duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to handle stress, multitask, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with PC hardware and standard MS Office software, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and people skills with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing across multiple levels.
  • Proven organizational skills and dependability, with the ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One to three years of related office and/or HR experience.
  • Experience using Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Knowledge or experience working within a federal government contractor environment.
Clearance Requirements
  • Security clearance is not required for this position.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position sitting at a desk more than 50% of the time.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer or copy machine.
  • Must be able to periodically lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Must be able to work under the stress of simultaneous priorities and deadlines.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange accurate information with others.
