Job summary

Encompass Health in Franklin, Tennessee is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative support across recruitment, benefits administration, orientation programs, workers’ compensation, and policy compliance, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will manage data entry, license verification, survey readiness, and onboarding coordination, while delivering responsive service to employees and managers and assisting with

Qualifications

• Professional in Human Resources certification preferred (PHR or SPHR)
• BA/BS in Personnel Administration, HR, Business Administration or related field preferred; experience may substitute for degree
• Minimum of one year of administrative support/secretarial experience, preferably in HR or healthcare
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support in various HR functions, including recruitment, benefits, orientation, and policy administration.
• Act as frontline support and receptionist for HR, offering excellent customer service to employees and managers.
• Assist in federal, state, and Joint Commission survey preparedness activities.
• Manage data entry and online employee license verification processes.
