A healthcare organization is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations across multiple locations in Newark, Ohio. The HRM will manage recruitment, onboarding activities, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with HR policies. Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, knowledge of employment law, and at least 2-3 years of experience in a HR Generalist role. This is a full-time position with requirements for travel and various employee benefits.
The Human Resources Manager (HRM) will oversee HR operations across multiple locations, ensuring a positive workplace culture, compliance with HR policies, and strategic workforce planning to attract and retain staff members. The HRM contributes to our HR operational activity and will include involvement in a wide range of strategic projects.
The Human Resources Manager will also be responsible for working with their Director and the Third-Party broker yearly on benefit adjustments.

HRM is supervised by the Director of Administrative Services.
The HRM must have excellent interpersonal skills (verbal and written), organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office and ability to utilize online EHR and HRIS platforms. The HRM must have knowledge of benefits, employee relations, FMLA/ADA, employment law, and audit reviews. The HRM must also understand and follow HIPAA and HIPAA 42CFR compliance.
A High school diploma with experience noted below is required. A bachelor’s degree in a closely related field is preferred.
SHRM or PHR is a plus, not required.
Minimum of 2-3 years in a HR Generalist role or equivalent position.

Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Requires about 25% travel.
