The University of Texas at Austin's newly established School of Computing is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support one of the nation's premier computing organizations. The School encompasses three departments, serves more than 6,500 students, and is consistently recognized among the nation's top programs by U.S. News & World Report. As a hub for world‑class education and research in computer science, information, statistics, and data science, the School partners closely with Austin's vibrant technology ecosystem and is advancing innovation in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, quantum computing, and cybersecurity.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive human resources support throughout the employee lifecycle for faculty, staff, and student employees across the School of Computing, with a primary focus on the Department of Computer Science. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. The Human Resource Coordinator applies best practices, professional acumen, and excellent customer service in all HR functional areas.

$60,000 + depending on qualifications

Regular staff who have been employed in their current position for the last six continuous months are eligible for openings being recruited for through University‑Wide or Open Recruiting, to include both promotional opportunities and lateral transfers. The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
