Job summary

Valiant Harbor International, LLC is seeking a Human Research Protection (HRPP) Compliance Specialist to support the Warfighter Performance Department at the Office of Naval Research. The role requires oversight of human subject research and project management to ensure compliance with federal regulations and DoD/DoW policies.

The successful candidate will review research, assist in IRB processes, compile HRPP metrics, and develop standardized reporting in RPITMS.

Qualifications

Must have a SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one prior to selection.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with at least three years of HRPP experience.
Experience preparing assurance packages to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Experience inspecting and auditing HRPP stakeholders.
Experience with DoD/DoW research programs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Review human subject research to ensure compliance with federal regulations and DoD/DoW policies.
Evaluate laboratories and training commands for compliance with applicable requirements for protection of human subjects.
Perform post-approval review of IRB minutes to monitor protection program compliance.
Identify areas of concern, develop corrective actions, and prepare reports for government personnel.
Compile HRPP metrics and write summaries; archive findings in RPITMS and related tools.
Develop HRPP forms, data items, and procedures for centralized reporting and analysis.
Coordinate training tracking, manage HRPP training databases, and schedule meetings.
