Job summary

Avon Technologies seeks a Human Factors Engineer to design wearable protection systems for military and first-responder use. You will drive user-centered design across garments, PPE, and integrated systems to improve safety, comfort, and performance.

Ideal candidates have a background in ergonomics, user research, and product design, with experience applying human factors to complex equipment and conducting usability testing.

Qualifications

Experience applying human factors to products, systems or equipment.
Experience conducting user research and usability evaluations.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Lead human factors activities across new product development programs.
Drive design decisions for wearable protection products and systems.
Plan wearer trials, usability studies, and ergonomic evaluations.
Communicate findings to engineering teams and influence design.
