Job summary

LOTH, Inc. is seeking a Workplace Designer to craft human-centered designs for corporate, healthcare, education, and hospitality environments in Cincinnati and Columbus.

You will collaborate with Sales, Coordination, and Installation teams to deliver compelling client solutions, meeting tight deadlines and travel requirements as needed. The role emphasizes design excellence, client interaction, and early involvement in the sales process to show how thoughtful space design can transform work

Qualifications

• Interior Design degree from a 4–5 year accredited program.
• 3–5 years of design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel and occasional overnight travel.
• Drug and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discover their “why” and identify business issues to solve.
• Develop design concepts that inspire and enhance customer experience.
• Position Designers at the start of the sales process to demonstrate why space matters.
• Collect programming information and project goals.
• Create layouts and applications customized to client needs.
• Prepare Furniture and Design Intent packages.
• Specify furniture, architectural products, and finishes.
• Select interior finish packages including flooring, paint, and lighting.
• Create detailed furniture plan documentation for approval and installation.
• Manage small to large design requests.
