Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Vessel Planner to own the detailed production schedule for assigned hulls using Primavera P6, ensuring hull schedules feed the integrated master schedule and reflect milestones in the site forecast.

You will develop and maintain schedules, verify WBS and durations, perform critical path analysis, produce look‑ahead schedules, and collaborate with engineering and procurement to align design releases with production sequencing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2–4+ years planning/scheduling or project controls experience.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling and schedule performance metrics (SV, SPI).
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed Primavera P6 schedule per vessel.
• Verify WBS, estimates, durations, and sequence logic.
• Status schedule with progress updates; manage near-term priorities.
• Maintain forecasted vessel milestones; align hull with master schedule.
• Resolve open-ended activities and out-of-sequence work.
• Perform critical path and near-critical path analysis.
• Calculate SV and SPI against baseline.
• Produce milestone bar charts, S-curves, look-ahead schedules.
• Prepare progress updates for weekly/monthly reporting.
• Lead hull schedule review meetings with leadership.
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement for design releases and material availability.
• Integrate quality hold points like RFIs, FAT, punch lists.
