This full-time salaried role delivers homebuyer education, counseling sessions, and referrals to lenders, realtors, and service providers. The position requires a HS diploma and a Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience; HUD certification or eligibility within 30 days is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of consumer credit counseling, housing, real estate, or case management experience.
• HUD Certified Housing Counselor or ability to obtain HUD certification within 30 days.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; public speaking ability.
• Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Outlook.

Aufgaben

• Facilitate HUD-approved homebuyer education courses and financial workshops.
• Conduct comprehensive one-on-one counseling sessions.
• Assess mortgage-readiness, analyze credit, budgeting, and debt reduction.
• Provide referrals to lenders, realtors, home inspectors, and insurers.
• Maintain client records, ensure confidentiality, and adhere to HUD/NeighborWorks policies.
• Support program goals and participate in annual target setting.
