Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a HUB Category Manager to lead sourcing strategies, optimize supplier performance, and support supply chain continuity for a sustainable energy future.

You will partner with engineering, operations, R&D, and commercial teams to align category plans with organizational goals, drive cost improvements, and influence major initiatives from design-to-value to new product introductions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategy development, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations.
  • Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders and leading cross-functional collaboration in a global environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with experience leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent are preferred.
