Job summary

Homeland Language Services is seeking experienced linguists to support the Department of Homeland Security Investigations. The role requires active clearance and involves monitoring, transcribing, and translating for federal cases. This project-based position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, requiring travel across the United States and flexibility for assignments. Ideal candidates will have experience in federal investigations and must be detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active HSI (ICE) clearance.
• At least 1 year of experience in translation, interpretation, or monitoring.
• Ability to travel locally and nationally, sometimes on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and interpreting live and recorded audio.
• Transcribing and translating communications.
• Supporting federal investigations and case documentation.
• Attending Title III briefings as needed.
• Maintaining clear communication with program managers regarding availability.
