Job summary

Keller is seeking a HSEQ Coordinator based in our Phoenix, AZ office to support projects in the desert area. You will work closely with the Business Unit Safety Manager, directing safety and environmental activities across Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico.

Requirements include CHST or equivalent preferred, 1+ year safety experience, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and willingness to travel regionally. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

• Basic computer skills (word, excel, powerpoint) required.
• Construction industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with directing safety and environmental hazard activities for the region (Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico).
• Assist Branch Manager with ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct routine safety inspections as directed by the Business Unit Safety Manager.
• Report inspection results to the Business Unit Safety Manager.
• Assist in acquiring resources for corrective action when needed.
• Conduct and follow up on safety inspections to ensure closure of items identified as unsafe or non-compliant.
• Facilitate training for employees on safety and environmental topics.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing Company Safety Policies and Procedures.

Keller is looking for a HSEQ Coordinator based out of our Phoenix, AZ office to support projects in the desert area. .

Responsibilities

In this hands-on position, you will work directly with the Business Unit Safety Manager with the following:

• Assisting with directing safety and environmental hazard activities for the region: Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico.
• Assisting Branch Manager with ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations
• Conducting routine safety inspections as directed by the Business Unit Safety Manager
• Reporting inspection results to the Business Unit Safety Manager
• Assisting with acquiring resources for corrective action when needed
• Conducting and following up with safety inspections to ensure closure of items identified as unsafe, defective or non-compliant
• Facilitating training for employees on a variety of safety and environmental topics as needed
• Assisting in the development, implementation, and enforcement of Company Safety Policies and Procedures

Additional Information

Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
