Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a campus Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) intern to support site-specific HSE plans and regulatory interfaces. You will work on projects that improve safety and environmental outcomes across locations, labs, or distribution centers under guidance from seasoned professionals.

The role targets students pursuing Occupational Health & Safety or related fields, with leadership experience and the ability to work in dynamic, results-driven environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related major.
• Demonstrated leadership in academics or clubs.
• Experience in operations environment or similar setting.
• Ability to decision-make in unstructured environments.
• Willingness to relocate for opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support development and tracking of a location's HSE annual plan.
• Interface with regulators (DOT, State/Local) as needed.
• Develop and manage strategies to prevent injuries and incidents.
• Establish driver capability through Defensive Driving techniques.
• Conduct root cause analyses and develop corrective actions.
• Assist in implementing site-level risk controls.
