Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking an HSE Specialist to support Fluor’s health, safety, and environmental excellence on project sites. You will implement HSE programs, help ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a strong safety culture working with project teams and contractors.

The role emphasizes field inspections, incident investigations, and compliance with OSHA standards, with opportunities to advance within large capital projects in the industrial and EPC sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field.
• 3+ years of HSE experience in industrial, construction, engineering, or EPC environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30, CHST, ASP, CSP, or other relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and client requirements.
• Conduct field safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Support incident investigations and corrective action tracking.
• Facilitate safety orientations, training sessions, and toolbox talks.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and company standards.
• Participate in Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and permit-to-work processes.
• Monitor contractor safety performance and site compliance.
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports, records, and performance metrics.
