Peak provides electrical, powerline, automation/I&E, construction, and maintenance services to the oil and gas industry.
This position requires someone who understands the safety requirements associated with oilfield operations, electrical construction, energized electrical work, medium-voltage power distribution, heavy equipment, and commercial motor vehicles.
This is a hands-on position requiring both field presence and strong administrative/compliance management.
The Safety Manager must be able to take ownership of Peak Energy Solutions' Safety Department and operate with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate must be comfortable correcting unsafe behavior, holding employees and supervisors accountable, working directly with customers and auditors, and identifying safety or compliance issues before they impact employees or operations.

Preferred certifications include CSP, CHST, OHST, OSHA 500/501, NFPA 70E instructor experience, SafeLand/PEC instructor, First Aid/CPR/AED instructor, and H2S instructor.

We are looking for someone who can own the entire safety and compliance function, not simply maintain paperwork.
The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable conducting an oilfield safety audit, teaching electrical safety, managing DOT compliance, investigating an incident, and resolving an ISN, Veriforce, Avetta, or DISA compliance issue.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of safety experience, preferably in oil & gas, electrical, powerline, industrial construction, or energy services.
Additional instructor credentials are preferred for OSHA 10/30, SafeLand/PEC, H2S, First Aid/CPR/AED, LOTO, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Excavation/Trenching, MEWP/Aerial Lift, Forklift, and Defensive Driving
