Job summary

MMR Group is seeking an HSE Project Technician to work full-time at our Memphis, TN site. Responsibilities include safety orientations, site inspections, and incident support. This role requires OSHA 30, OSHA 500/510 preferred, and 2–5 years of HSE experience in electrical environments.

Salary is $40/hr with a weekly per diem of $875. The position involves coordinating with the Project Safety Coordinator and site management to maintain rigorous safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 500/510 preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent; 2-5 years HSE tech experience in electrical.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Safety Coordinator or Branch Office Safety Coordinator.
• Conduct New Hire Orientation and Site Orientation per MMR policies (MMR Orientation, Site Safety Plan, Emergency Action Plan, Fall Protection, HAZCOM, PPE).
• Accompany injured employees to medical facilities and assist with case management as directed by the Project Safety Coordinator.
• Perform field inspections and audits (JSEA, equipment inspections, ground assurance, safety gear checks).
• Participate in MMR\'s Behavioral Based Safety Program and provide feedback.
• Enter BBS observation details into the BBS Observation Database.
• Assist in uploading site training into the MMR electronic database (M-Files).
• Provide on-site coaching and follow-ups to ensure training effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and Life Critical Policies; correct unsafe acts.
• Attend daily JSEA and toolbox meetings; work with supervisors to enforce Safe Work Practices.
• Stay current on MMR HS&E policies and regulatory requirements (OSHA, MSHA, DOT, NFPA).
• Assist in accident investigations and implement corrective actions as directed.

Education

OSHA 30 certification
