  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA 1926, company policies, and local regulations.
  • Facilitate daily safety briefings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.

  • Train operations personnel in hazard recognition, safe work practices, and emergency procedures.
  • Analyze safety performance metrics to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide data analysis and reporting support to evaluate safety outcomes and operational improvements.
  • Support industrial hygiene programs including OSHA testing requirements (e.g., annual hearing screening, ergonomics assessments, exposure monitoring).
  • Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) for incidents and lead corrective/preventive action development.
  • Perform field safety audits to verify compliance and coach personnel in hazard recognition and mitigation.
  • Provide immediate first aid or coordinate medical response as required.
  • Promote ethical behavior, safety accountability, and a strong, proactive safety culture.
  • Communicate policies, plans, and procedures clearly to ensure compliance and alignment with VoltaGrid’s core safety values.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Bachelor of Science in Safety, Environmental Science, or a related technical field.
  • Professional certification(s) such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) — highly desirable.
  • Experience with data analysis and safety performance reporting tools.
