Job summary

Rosendin is seeking an entry-level HSE Coordinator to focus on safety oversight across construction sites. This field-based role requires frequent site visits, documenting hazards and supporting incident investigations.

You will participate in safety meetings, assist with incident response, and help ensure compliance with regulations while growing in a leading, employee-owned contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent walk-through inspections of construction areas (80% field work).
• Assist in identifying hazardous conditions and documenting resolutions.
• Assist in identifying corrective actions and following through on implementations.
• Participate in pre-task planning and site safety meetings.
• Assist with investigating injuries and property damage incidents.
• Compile data, photographs and reports per procedures and regulations.
• Assist incident response as required.
• May assist trainings, orientations, or other duties.

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY

The HSE Coordinator is an entry level non-exempt safety position. It is a field-based position, focusing on safety oversight and compliance within construction environments. Responsibilities include conducting regular site inspections, identifying and resolving hazardous conditions, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Conduct frequent walk-through inspections of construction areas (Upwards of 80% of the Job is spent in the field doing audits and interacting with the crews).
• Assist in identifying, documenting, and recommending resolution of hazardous/potentially hazardous conditions;
• Assist in identifying corrective actions and follow through to ensure corrections have been made.
• Participate in job pre-task planning and job site safety meetings.
• Assist with investigating personal injury and property damage accidents.
• Assist with compiling data, photographs, etc.; prepare appropriate forms and reports per program procedures and federal, state, and local accident regulations.
• Assist in incident response as required.
• May assist trainings, orientations, or other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.);

WORKING CONDITIONS

General work environment – sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite. We fully comply with the ADA and applicable state law, including considering reasonable accommodation measures that may enable qualified disabled applicants and employees to perform essential functions. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
