Job summary

Design Services Ltds client is seeking an HSE Advisor for a two-year fixed-term contracting role, onsite in Barrow. The role entails delivering HSE training, conducting incident investigations and audits, and advising on best practices on site.

Preference given to candidates with NEBOSH certification, Offshore BOSIET and Medical, and experience with safety case/COMAH alignment. This PAYE contracting position offers a negotiable day rate and requires on-site presence at an onshore gas facility

Qualifications

HSE Advisor

Our client is currently looking for a HSE Advisor, this position will be a PAYE contracting position offering a negotiable day rate and offering a fixed two year contracting position located in the Barrow area. The client is looking for candidates to be on site for this role and will be offering a 9 day fortnight. This role will be working at an Onshore Gas facility but will require candidates to have some experience of Offshore working.

During this role you will be responsible for providing support to the clients hub assets by the way of provision of HSE training; accident/incident investigation; system audits and the provision of advice on HSE best practices on site. HSE advisors will also ensure that requirements of safety case and / or COMAH reports are maintained within operations and any proposed modifications or changes to the operational practices are compared to safety case and / or COMAH reports before implementation.

The client would be looking for candidates that have previous experience of working in a HSE advisor role and technical role / team as well as having a good working knowledge of risk management, compliance and emergency response routines and requirements. Our client is looking for applicants who have a NEBOSH certification as a minimum and also has Offshore BOSIET and Medical.
