MaST Community Charter School in Philadelphia is seeking a HS Varsity Basketball Assistant Coach to organize and promote a comprehensive athletic program while prioritizing academic achievement among student-athletes.

You will provide strong leadership, model ethical behavior, and supervise players and staff to ensure a positive, safe, and competitive high school basketball experience for all participants.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge base of the sport.
• Previous coaching experience of the sport preferred.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administrator may deem appropriate
• Required certifications

Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate and promote a comprehensive athletic program for the school community.
• Provide leadership that supports a positive learning environment and academic achievement.
• Model ethical behavior, professionalism and good relations with students.
• Supervise all students participating in the sport and assistant coaches as applicable.
