Sylvania is seeking an Athletic Coach to provide instruction and supervision of student athletes, fostering growth, teamwork and sportsmanship across multiple sports. You will collaborate with staff to align goals, monitor eligibility, and coordinate practice sessions and competitions.
The role emphasizes safety, discipline, and professional communication with parents and administrators, with regular attendance and a commitment to the school's athletic program.
The Athletic Coach provides instruction and coaching to students developing skills and the ability to excel in athletics. The Athletic Coach contributes to the educational program as a whole and to the growth of students involved in sports so that they are successfully competitive. The Athletic Coach must realize and appreciate the need for the sport program to work with other sports as a complement to the entire athletic department.
