Job summary

Motivation, Education & Training, Inc. seeks an Associate degree teacher to manage a warm, engaging Head Start classroom and implement the MET curriculum. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and Head Start experience is beneficial.

The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a structured, supportive environment. The position is full-time, offers a 37.5-hour work week, and pays hourly rates of $18.17 for Associate degree

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Science, Public Administration or related field.

Associate degree teacher $18.17 per hour/Bachelor degree teacher $22.37 per hour. 37.5 hour work week.

Description

Manage an attractive, warm and challenging learning environment for Head Start children, incorporating appropriate early intervention, learning and care activities which meet the needs of the group as well as those of individual children and families. Effectively implementing the MET Head Start education curriculum. Strong desire to succeed. Patient, able to resolve conflicts, gentle, loving, kind, creative, and resourceful.

Requirements

Applicant will possess an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Science, Public Administration or a related field. Bachelor degree preferred. Head Start experience preferred. Detail and multi-task oriented. Strong organizational, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Must be able to cope with stress. Time spent in strenuous physical activity, lifting up to 50 lbs.
