Denver Christian School is seeking a Christ-centered High School Musical Assistant Director to inspire and guide students while directing productions after school hours in Lakewood, CO. The role emphasizes discipleship, faith, and artistic excellence in a supportive, Christian environment.

The position is seasonal and part-time, reporting to the Performing Arts Director. A BA in education or related field is preferred, with high school coaching experience strongly favored.

Qualificações

• BA degree in education or related field preferred.
• Coaching experience at the high school level preferred.
• High school or middle school experience if needed depending upon opening.
• Must align with Denver Christian Performing Arts program and handbook.

Responsabilidades

• Calendar and schedule coordination with the production team.
• Flexibility as cast needs arise and specific schedule changes are made.
• Frequent and consistent communication with the production team and the Performing Arts Coordinator.
• Come to rehearsal planned and prepared in whatever role you are serving in. Submit a written plan to the Performing Arts Coordinator prior to the rehearsal process.
• Student discipleship and relationship building.
• Student safety and responsibility reminders.
• Understanding of tech week and expectations for staff and students.
• Team building coordination and bonding activities.
• Attend performances.
