Discovery Charter School, a cutting-edge charter middle and high school just north of Durham, NC, seeks a Part-Time HS CTE Teacher to implement North Carolina standards and a rigorous, project-based CTE curriculum. You will collaborate with a team, lead advisory sessions, and support students across disciplines in a high-tech environment with 1:1 devices, VR lab, and Passion Learning Time.

Qualifications

• Must have NC teaching license or be pursuing licensure.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfort with technology including VR and 3D printing.
• Passion for high school students and collaborative work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NC standards-aligned CTE curriculum.
• Collaborate with team and other departments to meet student needs.
• Facilitate advisory sessions and Passion Learning Time.
• Monitor lunch and assist with dismissal as needed.
• Provide feedback and assess student progress using rubrics.
