GE Vernova seeks a Project Manager/Installation & Construction professional to lead site mobilization, civil, erection and commissioning activities on customer sites. You may supervise installation operations and subcontractors, and adapt plans within approved parameters.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and strong written and spoken communication. This is a remote United States position with a pay range of $80,700–$121,100 annually and a comprehensive benefits

Responsibilities

• Explains technical information to others and contributes to policy/strategy execution.
• Adapts sequence of tasks based on changing work situations and has autonomy within defined parameters.

Job Description Summary

Responsible for activities related to the construction, building and commissioning on customer site, from site mobilization, through civil, erection and commissioning work, as well as management activities related to this scope. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Roles that are not otherwise technically specialized in a separate DAW or may cover a range of DAWs within the family. These roles may be individual contributor or they may supervise installation and construction operations on the site (e.g. civil, erection, mechanical/electrical installation). May lead others directly or indirectly and/or manage subcontractors, with technical specific expertise.
  This does not include scheduling, site EHS or quality.
• Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
• Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
